View this post on Instagram Its time for me to take this @evansclothing coat out of storage for its second wind. I’m really beginning to feel the cold these days and this coat (as well as being 🔥🔥🔥) really provided the snugness I NEEDED. This whole look is a lewk. ____ Coat – @evansclothing Bralette – @boohoo Trousers – @elviclothing Shoes – @asos #myelvistyle #evansboutique #boohooplus #asseenonme A post shared by Stephanie Yeboah (@nerdabouttown) on Nov 18, 2018 at 6:12am PST View this post on Instagram A throwback to one of my FAVOURITE shoots with @fordtography 😍 shooting and writing for my blog was the only thing keeping me afloat during *that* period of my life during the whole of 2017. ___ It was the only thing keeping me sane, and now I’m so happy that I now get to do what I love all the time! Freelancing is hard I won’t lie. I’m at that stage where I’m sending out loads of ideas, proposals and pitches and hearing nothing back which in turn makes me a bit nervous because bills and rent 😂 but perseverance is key! I’m hoping it’ll work out. ___ Outfit – all @asos @asos_loves_curve Boots – @publicdesire #asseenonme #asoscurve A post shared by Stephanie Yeboah (@nerdabouttown) on Nov 15, 2018 at 2:54am PST View this post on Instagram Ursula’s younger, pettier sister 💫 it’s weird how your mental health can determine how you feel about your body at any particular time. During this shoot, I LOVED how I looked. I felt powerful and pretty. A couple of days later, I felt terrible. ___ I think the greatest struggle in life is the struggle to accept, embrace and love ourselves with all of our ‘imperfections’. To be 100% honest about who we are, how we feel and what we need. We have to learn to be our own best friends because sometimes we fall too easily into the trap of being our own worst enemies. We love the idea of others loving us, and we forget to love ourselves. ___ What we need to realise is that our greatest task is not about discovering self-love; it’s about breaking down the walls we’ve built against it. When we have the courage to push through these walls – to know and embrace ourselves despite our humanness, flaws and our rejections, we also open the door to connecting in more caring, empathetic and intimate ways with others who are truly worth loving. This ran a little longer than I wanted, but thank you for coming to my #TEDTalk 💫 ___ Photographer – @lindablacker MUA – @chiara_aprea ___ #effyourbeautystandards #selflovebringsbeauty #beautybeyondsize #mystylishcurves #plusisequal #plussizeblogger #psblogger #celebratemysize #plussizefashion #andigetdressed #whowhatwearing #curvyfashion A post shared by Stephanie Yeboah (@nerdabouttown) on Oct 19, 2018 at 4:07am PDT
