At the University of Stirling our research on professional learning is transforming the way teachers improve education for young people.  Education in the 21st Century makes new and complex demands on already challenging circumstances. Our research underpins a model of professional learning that supports teachers, headteachers and their employers to make equitable and sustainable improvements in education.  The model is called Critical Collaborative Professional Enquiry and is being used for the benefit of young people’s learning in Scotland and beyond.
