EnCoDDE is a research project started in 2017 by researchers of the University of Stirling following the collaboration with local credit unions within the Falkirk area.
The aim of the project is to test valuable and effective digital marketing to raise awareness on economic abuse.
What is economic abuse?
Economic abuse is hard to define and identify and is very rarely reported, as this form of abuse doesn’t leave any physical marks on a person but can leave them in financial ruin without knowing they are being abused at all.
