Welcome to the blog for HISU9R7 Plantations in Ulster c.1550-c.1625.

In this blog you will post your own thoughts and conclusions drawn from the secondary reading you have undertaken but I also encourage you to engage with the comments/posts of each other.  This blog is intended to take the place of in-class discussion of the secondary literature for each week so I do hope you will engage and discuss with each other, albeit in an online forum.  You can do this in your own time but I encourage you to have read, posted some thoughts, and commented on other posts in advance of our weekly ‘live’ seminar on a Friday afternoon.  That way, you will have had time to read and reflect ahead of any discussion that will help consolidate your learning.
