There are so many ways of caring for yourself, but they all depend on one critical step: you have to decide to care for yourself.
Why? It makes the whole world better.
Please do this. It isn’t selfish – people who care for themselves care better for everyone else as well. We want to build healthy communities for everyone.
When? Now. No more to be said.
Don’t wait for New Year, or Lent or next term or when you’re less stressed.
How? It doesn’t matter.
You could eat lots of kale; run regular marathons; do 5 hrs a day of Yoga. Actually if you can do this and stick to it, then you’re a better person than I am.
Instead, just allow yourself these little luxuries:
- savour the moment
being can be the best- connect with yourself
feeling is really important - get active
doing almost anything - keep learning
growing is always possible - give to others
sharing is the best
