The aim of the International Society is to bring people from all over the world together in a multicultural environment, making friendships, learning about new cultures, and also improving their language skills. Everybody is more than welcome, International as well as all British students. You can meet people from Italy, Germany, Japan, China, America, Greece, Finland, France, Argentina and many more. The commettee is made up of both International and British students, who have studied abroad and faced all the difficulties and initial obstacles you may encounter now. So, if you feel homesick and need to be with people from your country or you simply want to meet people from different backgrounds, just pop in. You won’t regret it!

The International Society organises weekly events to show students a little bit of Scotland and engage with the local community, exploring Stirling and its surroundings. Among the many events, you can join the pub quiz night, the Glasgow walking tour and afternoon tea, and the Edinburgh ghost tour, just to name a few.

The International food event is undoubtedly the most successful! There’s nothing better than exploring new cultures through food. The only rule for participating is to bring a homemade typical dish. It’s a great opportunity for students to show their culinary ability and taste exotic dishes in a home-like atmosphere.
