Radio is a minimalist marvel.  What else allows us to complete the aural picture with our imagination? We ask you to think about what sounds we hear when we imagine a place.  What textures, scents, pictures..?

You have two minutes to create a sense of place with just 3 ingredients – voice, music and sound effects.  By talking to someone about what they do, where they work, what they can see or are experiencing, then adding some music that lends itself to the moment and finally sprinkling in some sound effects for extra flavour, you will be able to produce an engaging, intriguing and convincing piece of work.

Because done right radio should engage the imagination…
