Welcome to the Studying Social Work in Scotland resource site! We are delighted that you are coming to Scotland to study with us.

This site has been produced as a collaboration between the Universities in Scotland which provide programmes leading to qualification as a social worker. Our intention is to offer information which will be useful to students who have been offered a place on a course in Scotland and who do not live in Scotland prior to commencing the course.

There are five sections which you can access by clicking on the links. These are: Living in Scotland, Social Work in Scotland, Studying in Scotland, Becoming a Social Worker, Placements & Your University.

Resources here are not a replacement for specific information about your course which can be provided by the programme director for the course where you are going to study. You will find links to your own University website on the Your University section.
