Jamie Eubanks is a third-year American student studying abroad in Scotland for one semester. She is from Columbus, Ohio and will always cheer for the Ohio State Buckeyes even though she doesn’t care much about football. Her home university is Baldwin Wallace University in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a self-described feminist and a firmly childfree woman. She is passionate about ending rape culture and sexual assault, as well as getting people to understand the principles behind childfreedom. She enjoys crocheting, reading, FaceTiming her friends, and watching Netflix in her spare time. In the warmer months, she enjoys going out for adventures and hillwalking. So far, she’s only climbed one Munro but intends to return to Scotland in a few years and check off many more. She hopes to get a Master’s degree in communications at the University of Stirling and is looking into becoming a professor after she finishes graduate school.
Susan Myles, a fourth year Film, Media and Journalism student from the University of Stirling, Originally from Angus in Scotland she has always been a feminist at heart but it was only studying the subject in her second year that really peaked her interest and understanding of the movement. She hopes that Luna can provide a platform that’s able to inform young people so they are not left until their late teens to fully appreciate feminism in all it’s glory. In her spare time, Susan enjoys writing, photography and music when she is not helping her dad on her family’s farm in the Angus Glens.
