Row Row Your Boat Around Riverbend
Even though the rain was pouring hard, our spirit will always be dry. Nothing could stop our way to row on the River Forth.
If you want to see the other side the city of Stirling, rowing is not a wrong place to start. Together with the Stirling University Boat Club that always practice every day; yes during the cold weather and the rainy days, you will get to know the city better than you think.
The club is always open to all student members. If you are a new student, don’t be afraid, the seniors will always have your back. They will teach you the basic technics before hitting the water. If you forget how to row on the water, simple just follow your seniors. They always there for you; giving the instructions. Just to be sure that you always bring your jacket and leggings.
In order to reach the destination or the finish line, teamwork is all you have to do. With a good teamwork, the boat will be smooth sailing on the river.
The Stirling University Boat Club is always taken seriously their training. They will compete for all the rowing tournaments in Scotland; that is why they always trains every day. By practicing with the team, surely it will give a great feeling of satisfaction for knowing every member gave 100% and achieved something.
The club was established in 1987. Currently, it has 35 members and the Stirling University Boat Club has won many tournaments since then. This year, the club received 1 Gold for Mens Single, 1 Gold for Women, Mens Double, Mens Quad Gold at Inverness Head and 2nd Mens Quad at Strathclyde Park Regatta, BUCS Regatta. It was an amazing three days tournament and the team will return for another tournament next year.

Monday – 07:00 – 09:00 (For Seniors only)
Tuesday – 08:00 – 09:30 (On the Gym)
Wednesday – 14:00 – 17:00 (On the River Forth, near the Boat House)
Thursday – 07:00 – 09:00 (For Seniors only)
Friday – 20:30 – 22:00 (On the Gym)
Saturday – 14:00 – 17:00 (On the River Forth, near the Boat House)
