A sure sign that the summer break is over? The week when freshers and returning students start filling the halls of Stirling University again. A new semester has begun and the anticipation and expectations are sky-high. So many events to attend – so many new people to get to know. The International Society supports these exciting times by helping you connect with other students from abroad and UK alike.

Ranked Club of the Year 2015, the International Society offers interested students a welcoming and fun environment to meet and interact with others from various different countries and cultures. Throughout the year we organise trips and social gatherings adressing all kinds of different types and tastes.

Why not come to our Give-it-a-go Pub Quiz on September 19th and experience a fun-filled evening with your fellow students?

Or bring along your favourite dish to the Cultural Food Night on September 30th for others to experience a taste of your country.

If you enjoy travelling and exploring new places you might want to book a seat on our bus tour for a Day Trip to St. Andrew’s on October 8th.

You like a few shivers down your spine and can’t wait for the Halloween creeps? Join us on a spooky Stirling Ghost Walk on October 28th.

If you couldn’t leave your favourite pair of dancing shoes at home, the annual Christmas Ceilidh on November 19th seems to be the right place for you.

All our society members can participate in as few or as many events and gatherings as they like. The membership fee of five pounds for the year lets us offer you many of the events for free. A few paid events are open to non-members, too, however you’re entitled to a heavily reduced fee if you’re part of the society.
