  1. Take charge of your life and try  something new and adventurous
(https://www.christianfilmdatabase.com/review/zamperini-still-carrying-torch/)

Challenge yourself. Be a No Limit person, striving for more. To achieve things in life you sometimes have to do things you do not feel like doing. You are never going to have the desire to do the things you need to do to have the things you want. The human mind is wired in a way which protects us to do anything which might endanger or make us feel unhappy. The mind might make us believe things seem scarier or vaster than they really are. You need thus a mind shift. No matter what, take action, keep moving forward, and over time you will slowly start building the muscle, in your head. You start building the muscle of not listening anymore and ignoring your mind’s fears and doubts. You will start to accomplish things which did not seem easy at first.

For example, at the University of Stirling there are extravagant Sports Clubs such as Underwater Hockey and Surfing https://www.stirlingstudentsunion.com/sportsunion/clubs/

2.  Find your reason and focus

Write your Why and goals done on a piece of paper. Hang onto your focus in spite of everything. Obstacles are put in our way to test how bad we want what we are aiming for. Focus on where you want to end up. You will eventually get to where you want to be. Not all positive changes have positive beginnings. The journey ahead might seem to be overwhelming but trust that behind the mountains lays amazing wonders.

3.  Break the bad habits

Whatever it is you are strong and powerful enough to reach it. Be intentional and deliberate about it. Capture it on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Every single day do a little, take baby steps, and one day you are going to be living your dream. Your dreams will all become a reality. It is not enough to just say ‘I want it’ and then rely on luck to acquire it. You have to want it as bad as you want to breathe. Dedicate yourself and have the discipline to do whatever it is you want to obtain. When you make a change and do things for yourself people will notice. When it’s show time, you will be ready to reveal the change you have chosen to make in your life.

4. Prove yourself to yourself

At the end of the day it is just you against you. Happiness, peace, strength and greatness can be found within. Appreciate what you have and who you are. You are what you think. Therefore, train your mind to think and believe you can do it. Do not get caught up in the trap of feeling you need numerous amounts of achievements to feel like a success. Remember to pay attention on how you treat yourself.  Be honest to yourself. Believe in YOU. You got all it takes. Know your value.

5.   Remember, It’s Possible

Nelson Mandela said: ‘It always seems impossible until it’s done.’

Others cannot see the vision you can see. Do not become blind of opportunities just because you are the only one who can recognize them. You will begin to discover and accomplish things others seem to not be able to. You can build a mind which will see and create things which do not appear to be there. You will look beyond the impossible.

Let the University of Stirling help you to know:

There is nothing we cannot do. All the resources and expertise are there. Your target needs to be in your heart and soul. Focus on each day. Stick to the plan. You will get to your end result. Everyone wants freedom and success. The question is what are you willing to do to reach your goals? You must see yourself as victorious. You must get up and make it happen.

Remind yourself every day:

I can. I will. I must.

Look in the mirror. Become a victor not a victim.

On a final note never forget:

The Universe is yours.

The body has limitations but the mind does not.
